Thekkady Leaving the tea-scented hills of Munnar behind, a picturesque drive takes you to the heart of Kerala's wildlife, Thekkady. The afternoon is dedicated to an unforgettable encounter with nature at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Imagine yourself gliding on a boat across the placid waters of Periyar Lake, where the shores come alive with the sight of elephants, bison, and exotic birds in their natural habitat. As evening approaches, immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Kerala with an optional visit to a spice plantation or an exhilarating Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance.
Alleppey Today, the journey takes a blissful turn as you travel to the "Venice of the East," Alleppey. After checking into your hotel, you have the option of embarking on a quintessential Kerala experience in the afternoon with a motorboat or houseboat cruise through the famous backwaters. This serene journey will allow you to glide past emerald paddy fields, swaying coconut palms, and the beautiful daily life of local villages. As the day winds down, head to Alleppey Beach, where you can feel the soft sand between your toes and watch a breathtaking sunset over the Arabian Sea.

This is a 6-day / 5-night Kerlam tour covering four iconic destinations — Cochin (1 night), Munnar (2 nights), Thekkady (1 night), and Alleppey/Kumarakom (1 night). The journey starts and ends at Cochin International Airport, taking you through colonial heritage, misty tea hills, wildlife forests, and the legendary backwaters of Kerlam.
The package is available from 1st April to 30th September 2026. October to March is peak season with cool, dry weather ideal for all sightseeing. The monsoon months (June–August) offer lush green landscapes, fewer crowds, and a dramatically beautiful Kerlam — though some outdoor activities may have limited access during heavy rainfall.
The tour starts and ends at Cochin International Airport. On Day 1 you are picked up on arrival, and on Day 6 you are transferred back to the airport after breakfast. Please plan your flights accordingly. A personalised welcome gift in your firm's name is available on Cochin arrival at an additional cost.

In hill stations like Munnar and Thekkady, non-AC rooms are provided as standard — the cool mountain climate makes air conditioning unnecessary. All rooms are comfortable and well-furnished. AC rooms can be requested at an additional surcharge — please ask our team at the time of booking.
Yes! By default the Alleppey night is at a hotel. You can upgrade to a Deluxe, Premium, or Luxury Houseboat — a traditional Kettuvallam with a furnished bedroom, private deck, personal cook, and all meals included for a full 20-hour backwater cruise. Surcharges apply depending on houseboat category and your hotel package. The houseboat upgrade is highly recommended and is one of Kerlam's most iconic experiences.
Transport
A private air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver is provided for all transfers and sightseeing from 8 AM to 8 PM daily. Vehicle type is based on group size — Sedan for 2, Innova/Ertiga for 4–6, Tempo Traveller for 8–10 passengers. Upgrades to Innova Crysta or Urbania are available at a surcharge on request.
Yes, all toll charges, parking fees, interstate permits, and driver allowances are fully included in the package. There are no hidden transportation charges whatsoever.
Sightseeing & Activities
No, entry fees to all sightseeing spots, national parks, and monuments are not included and are payable directly at each site — including Eravikulam National Park in Munnar, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary boat ride in Thekkady, and all Fort Kochi heritage sites.
Several activities are available as optional extras at your own cost: spice plantation tour and Kathakali / Kalaripayattu cultural performances in Thekkady, motorboat or houseboat cruise in Alleppey, and Ayurvedic massage experiences. These are not included in the base package and can be arranged locally or pre-booked through us on request.
